Little Clay People
I've always wanted a dollhouse. I found a book by Dover that gives the plans on how to make a dollhouse from one piece of plywood. So I took it to Donn, my resident plywood expert. Donn and I are now cutting out a dollhouse. THEN Ruth introduces me to a book by Sue Heaser about how to make dollhouse dolls in Polymer clay. I bought that book on Amazon.com used, an old library copy. Then I bought a used copy of her other book on how to make dollhouse furniture and stuffs out of polymer clay. Michaels was having a 99cent sale so I went and bought several different kinds of flesh-colored polymer clay. 3 doll heads and two doll bodies later Fimo wins!
What drives me nuts is that I keep making mistakes. And after its been baked, there ain't nothing I can do to fix it!
Pictures later. :) She has, according to my 16 year old son, a pornographic body. "The ones inthe book didn't have nipples, MOM!" And she's got little skinny legs. Her arms look good, though. Her body is too long, legs too skinny, she's got a monkey face..maybe Donn's right, I should have started with polymer Onions for the kitchen?
